The following steps should be set up for anyone purchasing or selling via PAYPAL
Let's say you make a sale, your customer has paid, but for some reason when you look at the invoice it states "unpaid." Follow these steps to add a "call back" to your Paypal account:
- Copy this url: http://www.lighterauctions.com/pp_paypal.php
- Log into your Paypal account
- Click on "My Account"
- Click on "Profile"
- Navigate to the third column under Selling Preferences
- Click on "Instant Payment Notification Preferences"
- Click on button "Edit IPN Settings"
- Paste the above url into the blank area
- Click on the radio button "Receive IPN messages (Enabled)"
- Click SAVE and you will now have the little box on your invoice indicate the item as being paid once a paymnent has been made via LighterAuctions.com
Once you have made your purchase, do the following:
- Go to your MEMBERS AREA
- Under BIDDING, go to WON ITEMS
- Scroll down a bit to see the item you have just purchased
- Click the PAYMENT button
- Click PAYPAL, which takes you to your Paypal login page
- Pay as you would on eBay
- Make Payment
- Click Return to Merchant, which takes you back to LighterAuctions.com
- Click on WON ITEMS again and you should see in the box (to the right) that it is paid
- If it shows UNPAID, it is because you have not followed the procedures for the Paypal CALL BACK (Instructions HERE)
Once you've made a sale, log into the Members area:
- Under Selling
- Sold Items
- Click Send Invoice
- New Screen allows you to input your shipping charge and additional insurance
- You're required to put a checkmark next to the item (on the left)
- Click Proceed
- You're done!
